Babel Beast @Brighton Fringe

By Kitchen Table Theatre

After 3 festivals in London, Babel Beast lands in Brighton!

Babel Beast is an experimental, multi-lingual cabaret of monstresses, made by and for mythical creatures of Ancient Greece. Whether repurposing pop culture, childhood nostalgia or mythic storytelling, this explosive one-woman spectacle is familiar yet strange, energising yet intimate, and fundamentally “a love letter to speaking many languages” (audience response).

Natoli explores her multiculturalism and lived experiences of (un)belonging in between cultural spaces - herself divided between Italy, France and the UK - hoping to leave you with more questions than when you arrive!

Cabaret lovers and Greek myth fanatics alike are invited for a night of frightening and seductive, strange and reflective encounters. From the Siren's song, to Medusa’s sharp tongue, to Lamia's ritual - the Sphynx has a wild line-up waiting for you...

Shows on the 26th and 27th of May
