The Belladonna is a psychological 'glitter thriller' short film (16 mins) set in a burlesque club, starring Stella Talpo and West End star Janiq. Filmed at the legendary Bethnal Green Working Mens Club, the film features a roster of performers drawn from the burlesque scene, including Petit Pois, Miss Coco Belle, Turkish Delight, Donna Poderosa and Spookey Bones. Watch it for the first time in the UK at the Brighton Rocks International Film Festival, during the "Down the Rabbit Hole II" block at 9.30pm on 20th June 2026, followed by a Q&A with writer-director Javid Rezai. (Note: The Belladonna is screening alongside other short films, all ranging from 4-16 minutes each, and none of which are burlesque themed) Brighton Rocks International Film Festival is quickly becoming the cool kid of the UK festival circuit. Nestled in the city's famously bohemian arts scene, Brighton Rocks has become a destination for some of the UK's most exciting new films.

Accessibility

Main Entrance: Features steps up to the front door. Accessible Entrance: Located on the right-hand side of the building. It uses a temporary ramp and a doorbell or via a call to the bar (01273 570028).

Door Width: The side accessible entrance is 77cm wide, meaning it is not recommended for wheelchairs wider than 70cm. Some electric wheelchair users have specifically reported struggling with doorway widths.

Facilities: Features an accessible toilet on the ground floor The first-floor performance space and 25-seater Light Room are accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator on the premises.
