On the 12th of June, Hel Cabaret returns with Midnight Tales.
June may be filled with long days and summer light, but darkness does not disappear. It waits. In the corners of your room. In the shadows behind closed doors. Beneath your bed. In the quiet hours when sleep grows uneasy.
Old rites have been whispered. Ancient names spoken. The veil has begun to thin.
From forgotten folklore and restless night terrors, things begin to stir in the dark — drawn through Hel’s portal by the promise of a gathering.
On this night, they come.
The question is… what will Hel’s performers unleash?
Hel brings you an evening of Neo Burlesque, Gorelesque, Fire, Pole, and other provocative acts with horror, fantasy, gore, and fetish elements. These performances will be accompanied by rock, industrial, metal and alternative music.
We do not have a dress code, however, we encourage everyone to dress up for our event, we love seeing your outfits! It is not mandatory if that's not your thing.
This is a seated event and strictly over 18.
Doors open at 6pm and show will start at 7:15pm.
There will be access to the bar, but we encourage people to purchase their drinks before or during the mid show break. Come in early and join fellow travellers to Hel for a drink.
Please note strobe lights and other effects may be used during the performances. Also please note that performances may contain nudity.

Accessibility
La Belle Angele is located on Hastie’s Close and is only accessible via staircases from Guthrie Street or The Cowgate.
A handrail runs along the right-hand side (when entering from Guthrie Street).
The main entrance door remains fastened open during standard opening hours.
Main Performance Space:
Accessed from the foyer, the top bar and accessible viewing area are on the same level.
A short flight of stairs leads down to the main dance floor space.
The box office is located in the foyer at the front door.
An accessible toilet is available in the top bar, which is on the same level as the foyer and viewing area.
