DANG! 3
By LOWERHOUSE
Oh, DANG! Here they come, the silly, the fabulous, the dirty, the outrageous (need we go on?) Come one, come all to a delightful evening of drag, cabaret and the totally unexpected. Join 11 rambunctious artists as they open up a world of chaos, tears and joy. And you, you pretty little thing, get to come along for the ride. Dang, indeed.
The Lineup
MISTER LANEOUS
Mister Laneous is a visual artist and performer, join him on a journey into a brilliantly bizarre animated world, filled with playfulness and pure silliness.
DAEMON ICK
Daemon Ick crawled from the depths of hell and climbed the political ladder to uphold our country’s power structures by any means necessary. His counterpart, Beckett Gray, is a genderqueer drag artist, theatre maker and founding member of the neurodivergent-led, multidisciplinary theatre company The Palimpsest Project. The two are not friends.
DIRTY LITTLE MARK
DLM is just a confused little sod… yeah, basically that’s… yeah. Poor thing. Known for donning a fun, floral Vinted nighty and covering himself in Nutella ("for the bit"), Mark's probably cooking up something that even he's not sure about.
He's also the messy counterpart of interdisciplinary theatre-maker Morgan Brame. Working on interactive projects that squish together pleasure and fear, Morgan is the founder and Artistic Director of LOWERHOUSE.
ANGELBOY
Angelboy (Finn Harkin) is a trans actor, drag artist, and writer. His training includes the Ambassadors Theatre Trans Academy, Soho Theatre Cabaret & Drag Lab, and MA Acting at East 15. His drag often centres on bringing down the harmful narratives created by politicians around trans people, and instead creates a celebration of trans lives and bodies with a focus on the trans masculine body. He has performed in venues such as Soho Theatre, the Divine, and for Forte Follies at the Cavendish Arms. Most recently, he was in Jersey performing in the world premiere of the jazz musical ‘Full Swing’.
INDIA MARTIN
India is a clown, designer and artist from the East Midlands that was once told by her clown teacher she “does everything with her legs”. India draws on multiple performance styles to create absurd, silly and visually exciting work. She is a company member of international climate puppetry project THE HERDS, a Junior Associate of the National Youth Theatre, and was once, briefly, a cheesemonger.
MISS CARADE
Adam, (he/him) is an actor/performer/teacher graduating from East 15 Acting School in 2015, since then he has performed with various theatre companies across the UK for Fringe Theatre and Touring productions. He has devised and created performances that have been performed at fringe venues and small theatres across the UK and have worked on short films and TV productions. He has recently been part of the SOHO Theatre Drag and Cabaret Lab and is excited to step into the world of Drag and Cabaret with my performance. He's a volunteer with Theatre Shed in Chesham which is an inclusive theatre company, and has also created and presented a Harry Potter themed podcast.
